OnePlus has introduced OnePlus Nord Buds 2 under the Nord series just a few days ago. With the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, the company has claimed excellent bass and clear audio quality. The AI algorithm is also provided in OnePlus Nord Buds 2.

OnePlus Nord Buds 2 Review
OnePlus Nord Buds 2 has a 12.4mm dynamic driver. Apart from this, it also has support for BassWave. It has a back cavity for bass tuning. It also has noise cancellation and transparency mode. OnePlus Nord Buds 2 supports AAC as audio coding.
OnePlus Nord Buds also have a Dolby Atmos mobile version and a Dirac audio tuner. There is active noise cancellation with it, which is claimed to have noise cancellation of up to 25 dB. Dual-core processor has been used in it.
OnePlus Nord Buds have dual mics. Balanced, Serenade, Bold, and Bass modes will be available with Dolby. There is also fast charging with it, with the claim of 5 hours of backup after 10 minutes of charging. The total battery life with the charging case is 27 hours. OnePlus Nord Buds come with OnePlus Fast Pair and IP55 rating. Each bud weighs 4.7 grams and the charging case weighs 37.5 grams. Along with this, HeyMelody app is also supported.
Design & Build Quality:
OnePlus Nord Buds 2 has been introduced with many changes compared to the earlier version. Each bud of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 weighs 4.7 grams and the charging case weighs 37.5 grams. These buds are available in white and black colors. For review, we had the black color which has a dust-like pattern. Touch support is provided in each bud. The touch points of the buds look like buttons.

There are no problems regarding fitting with the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. The buds have received an IP55 rating for water and dustproofing. The edges of the charging case are curved. Type-C port is available for charging. It is easy to travel with it. You can go anywhere by keeping it in your pocket. There is a light indicator in the front. Three pairs of silicone eartips are available in the box along with a Type-C charging cable.
If you use the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 with OnePlus and Oppo phones, you will get many features and customization options without any app. Along with this, the HeyMelody app is also supported with the help of which you can customize the audio and use the equalizer.
It has BassWave mode by default. This mode provides excellent heavy bass, although if you don’t like it, you can turn it off from the app. You can also see the battery level in the app. With the help of the app, you can also install the firmware update of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2.
Touch control is available with both the earbuds with the help of which you can play-pause the music. Apart from this, you can also turn on the voice assistant of your phone with the touch button. You can switch between ANC and Transparency modes by long touching the touch.

Dual device connectivity is also available with this, that is, you can connect the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 with two devices simultaneously. The touch response of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 is a bit slow.
Both buds have two microphones. For connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.3. These buds come with OnePlus Fast Pair and Dolby Atmos support, although this is not for all phones but only for some selected phones of OnePlus. We did not face any problems regarding connectivity during the review. Find My Buds is also supported with OnePlus phones and apps.
The audio quality of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 is tremendous. NNC also does a great job. We liked the bass and punchy sound of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2. Its sound is crystal clear. The audio level is also adequate. The sound quality of the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 is better than the OnePlus Nord Buds. The tuning of the sound is also excellent.

Along with this, low latency mode is also available for gaming. The calling quality of the buds is also good and there is no problem with connectivity during the call. We used the buds for review with Oneplus 11 and iPhone 14 Pro Max. The Buds recently received firmware update 113.113.103.
Each bud of OnePlus Nord Buds 2 has a 41mAh battery and the charging case is equipped with a 480mAh battery. Battery life is good. Even with ANC, a backup of 5-6 hours is easily available and the charging case also fully charges the buds after about four hours. It also has fast charging that charges the buds for 5 hours in 10 minutes.

Now overall, the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will be considered a new and strong player in the Rs 3,000 earbuds market. With the OnePlus Nord Buds 2, apart from heavy bass, you get features like good battery life, excellent fitting, noise cancellation, and dual pairing. Ear detection and wireless charging are not supported in the OnePlus Nord Buds 2.
