Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 leaks on Geekbench with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ Processor

As you would know, Samsung is planning to launch the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 and Galaxy Z Fold 4 in three to four months. As always, their design and most of their features have been leaked already by various websites. Their CPUs also have been leaked. These two foldable flagship phones are set to be powered by the most powerful chipset. The US-bound version of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 (SM-F721U) appeared in Geekbench’s database, it has also revealed the phone’s processor, RAM, CPU benchmark scores, and software version as well.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ processor with higher clock speeds: 3.19GHz for Cortex-X2 CPU core, 2.75GHz for C0rtex-A710 CPU cores, and 1.8GHz for Cortex-A510 CPU cores. As far as we know, this chipset is most probably made by TSMC on its 4nm fabrication process.

The flagship foldable phone scored 1,277 points when it was tested in the single-core CPU benchmark and 3,642 points in the multi-core CPU benchmark. After testing on the multi-core CPU test it even scored 3,800 points. The device is set to come with 8GB RAM and appears to be running Android 12. As per the rumours, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is set to feature a design that’s similar to its predecessor flagship foldable smartphone; the Galaxy Z Flip 3. It will have a slightly bigger cover display, a 120Hz foldable display, and a slightly thinner body. It will be powered by a 3,700mAh battery with 25W fast charging, and fast wireless charging. The foldable smartphone will come with stereo speakers and for security, it will feature a side-mounted fingerprint reader.
